Lymbyc Systym @ Death By Audio Last Night, Knitting Factory Tonight

If you get a chance, check out Lymbyc Systym at the Knitting Factory tonight. I went to see them last night at 2am at Death By Audio, and they totally took me into an internal space. I didn't expect to get lost in my thoughts during their set, but I was in a trance. Then just as suddenly, they shook me up with the amazing dynamics and changes in their songs -- and I stood at attention. They even had everyone in the place clapping to their songs.

M83: Saturdays=Youth

I have made a conscious effort not to work on Saturday nights if I can help it. I think it will improve my mental health. Last week I went to Abbey's rooftop party and Cameron played the new M83 album, Saturdays=Youth, inspired by John Hughes movies apparently. It was so good that I went out and bought it the very next day. It's THAT good. "Kim & Jessie" reminds me of high school crushes... If this is how the soundtrack to my summer begins, I can't wait to see how the rest takes shape.

Artanker Convoy Music Featured in YouTube Doc Series "The House We're In"

I love the idea of this YouTube documentary series, The House We're In, featuring singer-songwriter Jont. He goes around and tours at people's houses, and everyone knows sometimes the best, most intimate shows are house parties...

Here's the description off the channel: The House We're In is the UK sequel to The State We're In - a weekly ten-part video blog series following musician Jont and film-maker Dave Depares as they put on UNLIT in Myspace users' houses that they've
never met before.

I want to do a show at my apartment. Anyone interested?

Artanker Convoy, the new psychedelic krautrock jazzy band I am managing, has music featured in Episode 1 of this YouTube series. Check it out below!
